HCX x  Quartz Capsule, D2S HID Bulb 5000k

 

These bulbs sport identical Quartz Capsules to the  Colormatch (85122cm) that are produced by the same manufacturers as the  bulb. We have based the capsule on a D2C base for a more versatile unit. (Will fit D2S or D2R!)

This Colormatch bulb is ideal for those who wish to replace just one OEM bulb but have consistent color quality.

As your OEM 4300k bulb ages the color shifts to a daylight temperature of around 5000k. If you replace just one bulb you may find that the 4300k replacement looks yellow in comparison to your working old bulb. The solution is to either replace both bulbs or choose this colormatch 5000k option.

NB. The bulb is not labeled Philips as only the capsule is a Philips component, the base is HCX.
